Our Story

That’s what we experience at KMK Apparel Group since fashion reveals a part of our personalities before we even say our first “hello”.  It evolves as we grow, allowing us to wear our histories on our backs!  For Kelly and Katy “it’s who we are and who we wish to be!” Fashion is innate … while Kelly was born into it; Katy studied it, making KMK a dynamic duo to spearhead this Apparel Group. 

Katy has a vast knowledge for fashion.  She graduated with Honors in Fashion Design at Seneca College.  She has 30 years of experience in the retail/merchandising industry.  For the past decade, she has overseen merchandising projects in ladies jewelry and accessories, men’s and ladies apparel throughout various retailers across Canada.   

Kelly has a passion for fashion.  Her family in Greece has been in the fashion manufacturing industry for over 50 years designing women’s apparel.  It all started with her grandmother, Kalliopi (her name sake), her uncle and aunts and then her cousin.  Three generations and more are following!  This intense emotional bond to fashion and family, being around art and beauty, has led Kelly to organize numerous fashion shows for worthy causes, raising funds and awareness, while continuing in her own way her grandmother’s legacy. 

These two ladies have merged their knowledge and passion for fashion to bring to the North, Central & South America market, European lines.  We are offering mid-range price fashions with a high fashion look.  If one wants to stand out in the crowd at functions, look no further than our brands, whether it’s at a wedding, a gala or a fundraiser, at a cocktail party, a grand opening, a baptism or a bar mitzvah or at any other special event.  Our carefully selected pieces will make you feel and look elegant and sophisticated, while maintaining a sleek and modern look.
